Last updated 29 August 2026. What we collect, why, and what we do not.
On this page
1. Summary
APX Autobot Trading collects very little. There is no account signup, no identity verification and no password. You connect a wallet and use the service.
The one thing worth understanding properly is section 4: activity on a public network is public, permanently, and that is outside our control. It is also why referral links carry a username rather than an account identifier.
2. What we collect
Automatically, when you use the site
- your public account reference, once you connect a wallet;
- standard server logs — IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps;
- a referral code, if you arrived through a referral link.
If you choose to provide it
- a username you register;
- an email address, if you create an optional profile;
- anything you send us when contacting support.
3. What we do not collect
We do not ask for and do not want:
- your private keys, recovery phrase or wallet password — anyone asking you for these is attempting to steal from you, including anyone claiming to be us;
- identity documents, photographs or biometric data;
- bank account or payment card details;
- government identification numbers;
- precise location data.
4. Public information you should understand
The platform runs on a public network. Every deposit, capital commitment, claim and withdrawal is recorded there permanently, is visible to anyone, and cannot be deleted, edited or hidden — by us, by you, or by anyone else.
Anyone with your account reference can see your full activity and balances. This is a property of the network itself, not a choice we made, and it is not something a privacy policy can undo.
Two consequences follow, and both are deliberate design decisions on our part:
- Account references are masked in the interface. Traders see network members as a short code rather than a full identifier, and we do not link out to external explorers.
- Referral links carry your username, not your identifier. A referral link gets pasted into group chats and public posts where it is permanent. A link containing an account identifier would expose that person's entire position to everyone who received it, forever. A username reveals nothing.
If you want to keep positions separate, use separate wallets. Once activity is recorded, it cannot be unlinked.
5. Why we use what we collect
- Account reference — to show you your own position and network, and to record referral relationships.
- Referral code — to attribute you to whoever invited you.
- Username — to give you a referral code that does not expose your identifier.
- Email — only for the optional profile and for replying to you. We do not send marketing you have not asked for.
- Server logs — security, abuse prevention and diagnosing faults.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.
6. Storage in your browser
We store a small amount of data locally in your browser so the interface works correctly. This includes a referral code you arrived with, your chosen sponsor before it is recorded, your theme preference, and a short-lived cache of platform data to avoid re-fetching it constantly.
This stays on your device. Clearing your browser storage removes it. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
7. Third parties
The following operate independently of us and under their own policies:
- TradingView — market data widgets on this site. Loading a widget lets TradingView see your IP address and browser.
- Your wallet provider — you connect it directly; we receive only your public account reference.
- Network infrastructure providers — used to read and submit transactions.
- Our hosting provider — maintains standard server logs.
We do not control what these parties collect. Review their policies if that matters to you.
8. Sharing and disclosure
We disclose information only where:
- you have asked us to;
- a service provider needs it to operate the platform for us;
- the law requires it, or a valid legal request compels it;
- it is necessary to investigate fraud or protect the platform and its participants;
- the business is transferred, in which case this policy travels with it.
9. Retention
Server logs are kept for a limited period for security purposes. Optional profile data is kept while the profile exists and is deleted on request.
Information recorded on the public network is permanent and cannot be deleted by us on request or otherwise. This is a limitation of the technology, and we would rather state it plainly than imply a deletion right we cannot honour.
10. Security
We use HTTPS throughout, restrict access to systems that hold data, and store passwords for optional profiles only as salted hashes.
No system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. The most important protection is one only you control: your wallet's recovery phrase. Never share it, never enter it into a website, and never send it to anyone claiming to be support. We will never ask for it.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export the personal information we hold, to object to processing, or to complain to a data protection authority.
To exercise any of these, contact us at the address below. We will respond within the time your local law allows.
These rights apply to information we hold. They cannot apply to information recorded on the public network, which nobody is able to alter or remove.
12. Children
The service is not for anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. International transfers
Our infrastructure and service providers may be located outside your country, and information may be processed there. Where required, we take steps to ensure an appropriate level of protection.
14. Changes
We may update this policy. The revised version takes effect when published and the date at the top of this page will change. Material changes will be announced through the platform where practical.
